Client’s Name: Town (Chinese Cuisine)
Intended Audience: New and returning customers in the San Diego area who can explore, in the comfort of their home, office, or on-the-go, the restaurant’s menu items and additional services. These demographics include business professionals and executives, food enthusiasts who appreciate fine dining, those celebrating special occasions, tourists exploring a diverse culinary experience, and those interested in Chinese culture.
Strategy and Concept: While maintaining the brand’s style of upscale Chinese cuisine, I kept with the theme of elegance and class and integrated high-quality, professional images of the food, dining areas, and exterior grounds. The colors, graphics, and typography are consistent with the brand’s style guide. Each page’s layout has a hero image at the top that relates to its topic, followed by content in a two-column grid for a clean and classy look.
Reason for decisions: The website is a digital extension of the brand and its products and services. The target audience is a combination of new and existing customers, so it was essential for the tone, navigation, and content to visually communicate the brand’s high-end identity through vivid images and structured content.
